COPERTINA MOSTRA copia
Soggetto 4

The human being is the only species that needed to invent evidence of its own importance.

It turned time into history, land into property, fear into order.

It built a world to confirm its own centrality, only to become a secondary element within the landscape it created.

Every human gesture seems to come from the same attempt: to leave something capable of surviving its own absence.

We learned to preserve, classify, protect.

We entrusted objects with the task of telling who we were, and images with the responsibility of continuing to do so when we are no longer here.

Small strategies against a simple truth: being only temporary, while knowing that the world does not preserve hierarchies.

Who am I?

The last question of a species that has never accepted being only a part of something larger.

Abbiamo imparato a conservare, classificare, proteggere.
